In this tutorial you will learn...

• How to create Weapons and Armours
• How to set properties for Weapons and Armours

So, now let's move on to weapons and armours. These are things that can be equipped to players in the game to raise their attack or defence and to help them in battle. These two things are fairly similar, so I'll cover them together in the same tutorial. Firstly, click onto the Weapons tab at the top of your database, and we'll begin here. The screen you see should look something like this...

And if you now click onto Armours, you'll be faced with a pane like this...

Now, if you create a new entry in both of the panes, I'll guide you through each. Firstly, create a new entry in the weapons pane. You will see a new pane looking something like this...

1 - The name of the weapon.
2 - The icon that appears next to the weapon's name in the menu.
3 - The description of the weapon that appears above the select screen in the menu.
4 - The animation played when the user uses the weapon.
5 - The animation played when the weapon hits the target.
6 - The price is how much the weapon costs to buy, the ATK is basically how much damage the weapon does, PDEF is how much physical defence the weapon gives you, and MDEF is how much magical defence the weapon gives you. STR+ is hpw much strength you gain when the weapon is equipped, DEX+, AGI+ and INT+ are how much dexterity, agility, and intelligence gained when the weapon is equipped, respectively.
7 - This sets the element attributes for the weapon, which makes the attack power vary depending on the target's strengths and weaknesses, and the other box controls any states inflicted when the weapon is used.

And the new entry pane in the armour tab should look something like this...

1 - The name of the armour.
2 - The icon that appears next to the weapon's name in the menu.
3 - The description of the armour that appears above the select screen in the menu.
4 - The kind of armour: shield, helmet, body armour or accessory.
5 - The state automatically applied when the armour is equipped.
6 - The price of the armour, how much physical defence (PDEF) and magical defence (MDEF) it gives the player, and the strength, dexterity, agility and intelligence gained when the armour is equipped.
7 - The elemental defence of the armour. The armour will defend best against what is check-marked here. Also, the states that the equipped armour defends against.

When you have created an armour and / or a weapon for your character, you need to make sure that their class can have the weapons and / or armours equipped to their class by using the classes tag.

The next tutorial will be on enemies and troops.
